_{Hey everyone! I promise I haven't fallen off the face of the Earth! These past few months have been crazy for me and even though things slowed down for a little, they are starting to pick back up again! But before things get too crazy, I wanted to say that :iconagust-fehrmont: (August) and I have decided to start a cosplay page on facebook in order to have a better spot for more regular updates, cosplay plans, and all our couple things :3 So please like our page if you like and let us know if you have one so we can like you in return! I find that we both spend more time on facebook, so it's much easier to keep in touch with everyone on there. Plus, I'll hopefully be uploading some tutorials on there in the near future!

Anyway, aside from that, there is so much to report! Since my last journal, I've gone to 2 cons and made 6 new costumes! WOAH THAT'S CRAZY! First up was Fanime and I had an absolute BLAST! I wish I lived in California because not only is it beautiful there, but EVERYONE is so nice! Just a few shouts to my roomies and buddies and . Also some REALLY exciting news from Fanime.... I had the pleasure of performing with and in the Masquerade and we won best in show along with and Effembee Cosplay helping us out WHICH IS AWESOME! I also met a lot of really awesome cosplayers from the west coast that I admire including and just to name a few. Seriously, everyone was so nice and welcoming, I really hope to get back out to the west coast again soon <3 New costumes at Fanime included Cecily Campbell from Sacred Blacksmith (casual *date* dress), Fuu Hououji from Magic Knight Rayearth (school uniform), Prince Utena from Revolutionary Girl Utena (SKIT COSTUME), and Hitomi Kanzaki from Vision of Escaflowne (Fanart/Doujinshi version). We also rewore our s-Cry-ed things too! Photos have been slow coming in but I will post things as I can!

Next con was Colossalcon and it was just a laid back time. I ended up making 2 new costumes in that week I had between Fanime and Colossalcon, which included Sen/Chihiro from Spirited Away and Botan from Yuyu Hakusho. I only did one photoshoot with the always talented and as Haku for a Spirited Away shoot. It ended up being an overall laid back con, and I got to see lots of my friends and relax which is wonderful.

Recently, I've been gearing up for Otakuthon, which is held in Montreal! I am SO EXCITED for this convention since it will be my first year going and I have ALWAYS wanted to visit this city (like it's on my bucketlist...) Unfortunately, though, it means I will not be attending Otakon this year. :[ This would have been my 5th year and it feels very strange, but I am very excited to be trying something new. So far my plans are going to be Gwendolyn from Odin Sphere, Cecily Campbell from Sacred Blacksmith, and Ninian from Fire Emblem: Rekka no Ken. I am particularly excited for our Odin Sphere group though! Hopefully I will be able to get Ruri from Martian Successor Nadesico done as well, and I may be bringing my latest Sakura outfit as well. Gwendolyn and Cecily have been keeping me very busy, though, since I have been trying a lot of new techniques that I have never worked with before, so I hope things turn out well. :3

After Otakuthon, my next con will be AWA in Atlanta (woah another new one! 3 new cons in one year.... it's crazy!) and then Youmacon, I hope everyone has been having a great summer and staying busy! <3}
